Mortgage rates eased off a bit from their climb last week and have settled in the upper 4’s. Risks favor locking up front if possible.
VA high balance loan limits have increased to $500,000 for Snohomish, Pierce and King Counties. It’s a great program for veterans purchasing more expensive properties since most zero down conventional loans have disappeared.
FHA and VA both have programs for borrowers to refinance without an appraisal.
